daily reminders

daily reminders

in this global re set, it’s all about the discovery, the learning and being as present as possible to whatever jumps into our view. putting our best selves out there is what makes the communities we live in and the world at large heal.

daily routines have been mixed, so anything that has a bit of routine to it, gets investigated and a decision is made whether it serves me in this new “new,” or whether it’s something to say so long to.

routines that i am keeping, and feel so grateful to…
walking every morning. meditating and chanting every day. pulling my angel cards and connecting to more than me before my feet hit the floor to get out of bed. all daily reminders that keep me present, peaceful and healthy.

getting dressed has become something new too, this suits me very well right now— which caftan, which sweat pants, which necklaces to choose to wear (having the beauty of 30 years of dogeared necklaces to choose from is a true gift).

should it be my heart necklace? should it be my friend necklace? or should i layer a bunch of necklaces—
each necklace serving as a meaningful reminder of what they stand for—and at dogeared we have stood, fallen and everything in between. we have been human, and our journey has not been a straight line—but it’s been ours, and as i put those necklaces on, and wear them either alone or together, i get to be reminded of my life, and my path.

as we work on what gets to come forward, find your daily reminders—whether it be a necklace, a chant, a walk or … the reminders that find the lens of being grateful, and purposeful and doing all of it in the spirit of joy.

with much love,

marcia
