Information about returns

Dogeared.com Return Policy

If you received your Dogeared.com order and aren't totally in love with it, you are welcome to return it to our headquarters within 30 days of the ship date for a refund less shipping (if applicable), to the original method of payment. The merchandise must be unworn, and original packaging and invoice must be included. We'll send you an email as soon as your return has been received and processed. This may take 2-3 business days for the refund to post depending on the card issuing bank. If returning for merchandise credit, a dogeared.com store credit code will be emailed to you in the amount of the items received. Please include the original packing slip, the order reference number and your email address to receive a store credit code. If you do not have this information, we're happy to help! Please have the gift giver’s full name or email address to search for order information.

Exclusions: Make A Wish necklaces on thread and bracelets on irish linen are intended to break and are not eligible for exchange or refund after 7 days. Custom orders including mix and match bridal, custom bridal, custom orders and Create With Heart are not eligible for return. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash and cannot be returned for a refund. Dogeared is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards.


Dogeared Store Return Policy

Dogeared will gladly accept returns and exchanges* within 30 days of your purchase as long as the items are unused and returned with original packaging and original receipt. Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment. Refunds can take 2-3 business days to process and post to the card issuing bank. If you paid with a gift card or returning an item with a gift receipt, a merchandise credit in the amount of the refund will be issued which can be used in a Dogeared store or dogeared.com. We are unable to accept Dogeared merchandise purchased at retailers other than Dogeared.

Return instructions 

Dogeared does not provide pre-paid shipping labels for returns, so you may return any order through the carrier of your choice. We recommend using a trackable/insured shipping method to guarantee successful delivery of your return. You can send items back to us at the address below:

To Return To Store:

To return merchandise purchased from dogeared.com to one of our stores, please bring the packing slip included with your order and a photo ID within 30 days of the ship date. Please be aware refunds must be issued to the same credit card used to make the original purchase. Refunds can take 2-3 business days to process and post to the card issuing bank. Items are also eligible for store credit or exchange.


Gift Returns 

If you received a gift purchased from our website, you may return it to our headquarters. A Dogeared.com store credit code will be emailed to you in the amount of the items. We are unable to process returns for items purchased at retailers other than Dogeared.com. 

You must include the original packing slip, the order reference number and your email address to receive a store credit code. If you do not have this information we're happy to help! You can email us at dogoodteam@dogeared.com , we'll need the gift givers full name or email address to search for the order information. 


Jewelry Repairs

Please contact the Dogeared Do Good Team at dogoodteam@dogeared.com or stop by our store located at 2909 Main Street, Santa Monica, CA 90405 if you need to discuss repairs on an item of jewelry. Dogeared does not repair or replace jewels on Irish linen, silk thread, nylon cord, leather or hemp. Limited edition items not eligible for repair as they are one of a kind.
