Freelance Graphic Designer (Culver City)
We are looking for a very hip, creative and talented freelance graphic designer with web experience.
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce creative marketing materials for print and on the web.
- Collaborate with design and marketing team on projects to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Work with Marketing Manager to communicate any challenges with timing and deliverables.
- Carry the company brand through all aspects of the website, e-mails, printed materials, social media.
- Execute a design from concept to production ready art.
- Design and maintain design elements and interact with project teams to ensure that designs are understood, implemented and produced appropriately.
- Circulate creative within group of new and revised materials. Circulate proofs for approval and maintain a library of artwork for all materials within internal filing system.
- Ensure that copy tone and style are consistent with visual tone and style.
- Other design duties, as assigned.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum three years experience in graphic design.
- Intermediate / Advance use of Adobe CS6 including Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator.
- MAC proficient.
- An understanding of color theory & font treatments specific to web and print.
- Understand retail, e-commerce, fashion aesthetics and be able to translate compelling current visuals.
- Demonstrates the ability to engage with us and convey the information they need to effectively execute a task.
- Self-manages timelines, projects, expectations once assigned.
- Experience with web site design and updates.
- Experience quoting and managing print jobs, as well as working with printers.
- Able to take creative constructive feedback and translate into revisions.
- Strong writing, editing, spelling and grammar skills.
- Must be organized (to include digital files and physical space).
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to work on all media (digital and print).
- Must have strong composition and layout skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once with tight deadlines.

QC Associate
Reports to: QC Manager
Status: Full-Time
The job of Quality Control Associate is to ensure customer satisfaction with complete orders filled with excellent quality product made to specifications, packaged correctly and shipped within promised delivery dates. Quality control team members are the last set of eyes to see our product before it goes out the door. It is your job to uphold our standard of quality on every piece we ship to our customers. You are the ones who ultimately hold production workers responsible for the work they produce. It is expected that you are familiar and comfortable with the entire Dogeared line and able to assure that the orders you send out are complete, accurate, and of the highest quality.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in training to be familiar with the whole line, and maintain the ability to detect items that have been made incorrectly.
- Check all products for quality and accuracy.
- Return any unsatisfactory work to the person who made it and follow up as necessary.
- Package product with correct labels, etc.
- Effectively manage time to ensure that shipping deadlines are met and call out a need for help when necessary.
- Communicate any missing product to Quality Control Manager.
- Keep accurate records of when things ship.
- Assist with delegation of work to QC Associates.
- Manage data entry for all backorders, temporary out of stock and discontinued items.
- Assist QC Manager with reporting (using of Filemaker data).
- Manage special product campaigns.
- Communicate effectively with all departments.
- Other projects as assigned.
Education, Skills and Experience:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Sr. Sales Support (Data Entry Analyst)
Reports to: Wholesale Sales Support Manager
Status: Full Time Employee
Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter orders into our FileMaker database.
- Work with sales representatives to handle customer service issues.
- Learning alphanumeric product codes.
- Creating production lists.
- Assisting executives and staff.
- Organizing and filing paperwork, etc.
- Makes sure everything is on track with EDI processes and label books.
- Update necessary documents or reports with data from orders.
- Maintain accurate Customer Profile records in FileMaker and hard-copy files.
- Creating style numbers's for order entry.
- Complete weekly issue order status reports.
- Preparation and ordering of necessary labels or special packaging.
Additional Skills / Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years data entry experience
- Sales Support role experience desired
- Macintosh knowledge
- Ability to multi-task
- Greta attention to detail
- Accurate typing skills
- Thoroughness
