Ghosts, goblins, and ghouls? So passé! There is no better time to showcase your inner child than at Halloween and here at Dogeared our holiday was complete with a hot dog, a shallot, and a Starbucks costume as well as a myriad of other great attire. Earlier in the week our Party Planning Committee set up fabulous decorations to get us in the spirit. The morning of the festivities, the office was buzzing with people admiring each other’s great outfits. Midway through the workday, we had a parking lot parade of costumes and voted for the scariest (Vera as La Llorona), funniest (Kelly as Pipi Longstocking), honorable mention for creative costume concept (Janeesa as a shallot, yes, a shallot!) and overall best (Mimi as a mummy).
Of course, no Halloween festivities would be complete without candy, and this was no exception. We went from department to department, trick-or-treating together and looking for the best spread.
